The island of Majorca, home of Camper, has a new shoe brand on its shores. Borinos is a family-run enterprise in Palma, set up in the spring of 2013 by Domingo Martínez. The Borinos collection consists of open-sided leather shoes for both men and women in a range of pastel and earthy colours; all are handmade in Palma from the finest nappa leather. According to Martínez, the focus is on quality and comfort: “We found there was a gap in the market for a men’s shoe that is comfortable and light, and at the same time elegant and smart.
